Want to make jet lag milder on a Europe trip?

Have you ever thought about taking a Transatlantic cruise to Europe instead of flying overnight? 🚢

A Transatlantic cruise doesn’t eliminate jet lag , but it can make it much milder.

Most eastbound crossings adjust the clocks forward by about 1 hour per day over several days. Instead of jumping 8–9 hours overnight on a flight, your body eases into the time change gradually.

These are the details I consider when planning your family vacation. I look at all the options to see which one matches your family best. 👩🏼🧔🏽‍♂️👧🏻🧒🏻

Let’s talk about Pool Chair Etiquette. If you’ve ever been to an all-inclusive, you KNOW about the chair game. Early morning towel drops, disappearing items, and poolside politics. 🤦‍♀️

Recently, more resorts in Riviera Maya have started removing items from chairs left unattended for more than 15–30 minutes.

What can you do?
• Be aware your items may not hold your spot.
• Be respectful and timely.
• Ask staff for help if you’re struggling to find a chair, they’re usually great!

I always prep my clients with this insider information so they’re not caught off guard. It’s one of those small things that can cause stress if you’re not expecting it.

Halloween Time kicks off Aug 22 and runs through Oct 31, with Oogie Boogie Bash happening many nights in Sept. This is a separately ticketed event, California Adventure closes early on party nights, so plan around it.

🚧 It’s… Under Construction
Ride refurbishments are happening across both parks. Star Tours, Dumbo, Radiator Springs Racers, check what’s closed before you go.

🎉 It’s SPECIAL
Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary celebrations are underway! And Plaza de la Familia is a beautiful cultural celebration your kids will love.

🚨 Breaking Disney News: Big Changes Coming to Disneyland Resort Hotels! 🚨

Starting January 5, 2026, guests staying at the Disneyland Hotel, Pixar Place Hotel, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will no longer receive 30 minutes of early park entry.

✨ Instead, each guest will get 1 Lightning Lane entry (per day). ⚠️ Note: Radiator Springs Racers and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance are NOT included.

That’s not the only change… ➡️ The Pixar Place Hotel private entrance to Disney California Adventure will also close on Jan. 5, 2026. Guests will now need to use the entrance located inside the Grand Californian Hotel.

These updates mark a major shift in how Disney Resort Hotel perks work and families planning 2026 trips will want to factor them into their vacation strategy.
